An annotated bibliography for screen production researchers
Submitted by Leo Berkeley on Mon, 03/17/2008 - 10:27When I started my PhD a couple of years ago, everyone told me that part of the task was to do a literature review and find out what other people had written about the field I was researching, which is the screen production process. I had a lot of trouble finding research, reflection, theorising of any kind that seemed closely connected to what I was doing.

Bell discusses the history of screen production as a form of academic research, the epistemological problems encountered in attempts to legitimize this practice within the academic field and suggestions for addressing these problems.
