Editors will manage 2-3 submitters and handle tasks such as initial reviewing, proofreading, corresponding with submitters, arranging peer reviews, and more. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the ASPERA community and support screen production research.

You can check out past issues of the journal at https://www.aspera.org.au/sightlines-journal

If you’re interested, please email a short statement outlining your interest in being involved and indicating your ability to attend regular meetings to rsc@aspera.org.au by 21 January 2025.

Service on the Sightlines Editorial Committee will commence at the beginning of March 2025 and run through until late November 2025.

This sounds like a fantastic opportunity for anyone involved in academic filmmaking or film studies research. For those planning to submit or contribute scholarly work, especially at the doctoral level, it’s worth considering professional PhD proofreading services in Dubai to ensure your writing meets high academic standards. Clear, polished writing really makes a difference when your work is under editorial review.
